About us

The Refuge Foundation (TRF)- is a non profit charitable organisation registered in Bangalore , India which was founded in 2007 by Beulah John , a high school biology teacher who had a dream to follow the footsteps of Mother Teresa. At present there are 25 girl children who belong to different age groups from 4 to 22 years. It was founded for the benefit and welfare of children in distress. It actively seeks out to abandoned children who are deprived of care and affection and rehabilitates them by providing a nurturing environment, care and protection, nutritious food, comfortable shelter, quality & systematic education and medical care through love and compassion. The Refuge Foundation empowers its children to be physically , mentally , socially , emotionally and spiritually lead a high quality of life.

Objective of The Refuge Foundation

  • To provide a homely atmosphere for the children in distress.
  • To show them love and affection with compassion and parental care.
  • To provide food, clothing, shelter and all other basic needs.
  • To provide recreational facilities such as outing, games, picnic, music etc.
  • To offer counsel in time of need.
  • To bring out their hidden talents, gifts and nurture them.
  • To help children dream big and aid them fulfill it.
  • To enable them to grow in all dimensions of life: physical, mental, social, emotional and spiritual.
